Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?
Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time community manager, designer, and/or developer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.
With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your membership as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?
Once you begin your membership, you're able to add as many design requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.How fast will I receive my designs?
On average, most requests are completed in three days. However, more complex requests can take longer. For example: website page designs or redesigns.Who are the designers?
You might be surprised to hear this, but I'm actually an agency of one. This means you'll work directly with me, Matt Cici. I'm also a Top 20 Wix Designer and certified Educator for Wix — teaching their workshops, courses, and classes to 250M+ users.
However, requests such as graphic design, animations, custom illustrations, SEO services, and custom code may be provided by partner designers and developers.What programs do you design in?
Most community-related requests are designed inside Circle.so. For custom websites and landing pages, I support these other website builders: Wix, Wix Studio, Square Online, and Squarespace; and these community platforms: Circle.so and Heartbeat.How do I request designs?
I offer a ton of flexibility in how you request designs via my project management tool, Basecamp. Some common ways members request designs is directly via Basecamp, sharing Google Docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Basecamp, it's fair game.What do you mean by asynchronous?
This service is entirely asynchronous, meaning there are no meetings, video, or phone calls. Communicating asynchronously allows us both to: work at times that fit best in our schedule; keep our thoughts, tasks, and updates organized; and document the entire process. If you do not feel you will work well this way, please don't purchase this service.What if I don't like the design?
No worries! I'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied.What if I only have a single request?
That's fine. Join the Joy Day and/or sign up for a full Joy. You can pause your membership when finished and return when you have additional needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your membership go to waste.Can you build me a website from scratch?

These will be available in your Basecamp. Power-ups require a Joy or Joy Plus membership, and are not available on their own.Do you cover my business expenses?
No. These are your responsibility. While I do offer discounts on certain software, apps, and tools to help you run your business, you are responsible for all of your own business expenses. This includes SEO-related expenses like off-page link-building services.Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
